Effective July 1, 2026, the Ohio Supreme Court implemented a restructuring of some of the Ohio Rules of Court. This included moving a number of rules specific to probate courts from the Ohio Rules of Superintendence to the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure. Our Local Rules supplemented those rules. The result is that due to the change in location and numbering the current Local Rules will require amendment, which is in progress. Pending the completion and adoption of the necessary amendments, persons accessing the current Local Rules may access the “Rules Restructuring Reference Chart” by clicking on the link below, to reference the existing Local Rule to the new location and numbering of the former Rule of Superintendence that the Local Rule supplements.
